Key features of each model of handheld RFID reader

All of our models of handheld RFID readers (the HH86, the HH83, the HH83 RFID ACD and the HH85 RFID ACD) offer many important features for the best solutions. Let's take a look at the list of these features:

  • robust scanners for data collection in harsh industrial environments;
  • perfect RFID readability for a wide range of RFID tags;
  • extended reading range through use of di-pole antenna (HH85, HH83) or circular polarisation (HH86);
  • scan barcodes, NFC, HF and UHF RFID labels;
  • easy reuse of individual scanner designs across the range through API technology.

UHF and LTE capabilities across the range

Our RFID readers have different LTE capabilities. Our LTE HH86 RFID reader has many connectivity options including Wi-Fi, 4G, 3G, Bluetooth 5.1 and more. Our LTE HH85 RFID reader has a connectivity options for 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, USB 2.0, wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Our other HH85 RFID Reader model does not have 4G connectivity. Both HH85 RFID readers have NFC/HF and UHF RFID capabilities. Our HH83 RFID ACD LTE reader has connectivity options for 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, USB 2.0, wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Its RFID capabilities are NFC/HF and UHF. Our HH83 RFID reader model does not have 4G connectivity and has NFC and HF RFID capabilities.

Design variations: pistol grip vs standard

Our RFID reader models come in two styles. You can choose either the pistol grip or the standard grip. So, what difference does it make to you? The Pistol Grip model has an easy-to-use handheld sled design. This model of RFID reader increases efficiency through ergonomic design, mobility and durability. Typically used for barcode scanning, inventory management and data collection in a variety of industries. Our standard grip models of RFID readers are an excellent RFID scanning option. These models are perfect for everyday RFID scanning and for data collection in harsh industrial environments.
